Can you tell us a little bit about your team and its history?
Ebimotors was founded in 1998 by Enrico Borghi a passionate F1 engine’s mechanic.
Since the beginning Ebimotors has been recognized as a Porsche Motorsport Service – the first one and the most important workshop in Italy.
With Factory support Ebimotors has competed in all major GT competitions (as FIA GT Championship, IMSA, Italian GT, Endurance races as well as Porsche Carrera Cup Italy and Porsche Supercup) and it has collected a lot of good results (Porsche Carrera Cup Champion 5 years in a row and Italian GT3 Champion).
You are now leading the GT3 class; as a team manager point of view, how will you approach the final in Portimão?
No one can predict the future but we would like to be in the best shape possible with the car, the crew and the drivers. We are working hard on the car, making a big and accurate check and we are going to test it before the race.
Do you think the Portimão track will suit your Lamborghini Huracan GT3?
I think that our Lamborghini Huracan GT3 could be competitive in all race tracks. What is leading the Championship now is BOP, but we will try our best to win the title.
It’s your first season in Michelin Le Mans Cup, what do you think of this championship and how went your season so far?
Michelin le Mans Cup is a high-level championship, professional and well organized. It is a good opportunity for crews and drivers to improve their skills in view of all others international racing programs.
Concerning our first season, I can say I am satisfied. We did four pole positions, we won two races in a row and we are leading the Championship only with one race left.
